Wedding + Father's Day

Last weekend was the long--awaited wedding of Nanny Izabell and Neil. They had a small ceremony at Izabell's parents' cabin near Park Rapids. The girls got ready in a cabin that Izabell rented at a nearby resort. Brynn did Clara's hair and make-up. Izabell's sister doing her make-up. Izabell sister is Brynn Marie, born just a couple of days after our own Brynn Marie. Izabell added lockets to each of the bridesmaids' (and junior bridesmaids) bouquets. So beautiful! It couldn't have been a nicer day for an outdoor wedding. Izabell and her family. (I went to high school with her dad, John.) Dana helping me fix something with my shoe. Following the ceremony we had a delicious pulled pork dinner also at the lake property. It was such a fun, casual time. Start of (Clara's Busy) Summer

Clara's already had a busy start to the summer. She has begun her tennis lessons through Fargo Parks (same as she's done the past couple of years) and I signed her up for a volleyball camp put on by Davies VB coaches and players, which she is loving after only one session. And she's taking summer piano lessons. She's already taken advantage of getting herself around on her bike and hung out with Micah between our two houses. Last week which was the first full week of her summer vacation was VBX at church. This was the last year she could attend and she admitted she did feel her age, especially since the youngest age in attendance starts at three years old. Hopefully she'll volunteer next year, but she's not too into looking after younger children. Anyhoo, this year's theme was space which I thought was going to be really cool for her, but it turned out to be more of a Dr. Seuss vibe. I had to make it in time for the confetti bomb, obvi.
