Brynn's Immune System of Steel!

Brynn and Mama had another photo shoot last week. We were home together because her daycare lady had influenza and she didn't want Brynn to catch it. Also, Papa had a bacterial form of tonsilitis in which we had to make a trip with her to the walk-in clinic. HOLY GERMS!! Then her daycare lady got strep over the weekend, plus who knows what else the other kids at daycare have. After all that, and she did not get sick. I was really surprised, but very grateful! Brynn has moved downstairs into her crib at night now. It sure was sad to see her leave our room. But, I think she'll sleep better down there, as she seemed to wake up when I would get up for my 4:00 am pumping. We're one night down, and so far so good. She'll usually sleep about 6 hours, so we're very lucky! Tara's Grandpa made this cradle for her when she was a baby.

Happy Easter

Hope you all had a good Easter. We were with the Froemming side this year for Brynn's first Easter. She smiles more and more all the time. I finally was able to capture a couple with my camera! She also coos now, too, which is so cute. We found out Brynn also loves to watch TV. If we happen to have it on with her around, she'll just stare at it. I try to tell her to look away and that it'll rot her brain. :-) Surprise! The kids at daycare took this picture and made this frame for Brynn.

Brynn parties and meets the Easter Bunny!

Brynn spent all day shopping at the mall on Saturday...and even got to meet the Easter Bunny! She sure is giving lots of smiles, lately. It's so fun to see. We'll definitely have to work on getting those on camera. Today Brynn went to her first birthday party. Her friend Anna, turned four. She pretty much slept the whole time, but I think she had fun. She met a boy, Quinn, at the party. Dana works with Quinn's Papa. Brynn and Quinn. Potential future boyfriend? Daddy didn't think so. :-) All partied out!

Getting Ready for Daycare

Brynn's Doctor Visit

Brynn had her two-month check-up today. Which means, yes, she got her shots! Mama had to look away. She did really well, though. She only cried during the shots and a little after; then settled right down. She's been quite sleepy tonight. She weighs 8 lbs and is 20 inches long now. No more fortifying, and no more waking her up at night to eat! That was really great news. This weekend Brynn went on her first overnight trip. We went to Grandpa and Grandma Dietz's for the weekend. She also met another grandma, Great-Grandma Dorothy. Cousin Reagan kept calling her "pretty baby." On Sunday Brynn will be attending her first birthday party. Friend, Anna, turns four! Reagan got her hair done by Grandma Laurie.

Daddy's Little Girl

Getting so big!

Brynn has been busy this past week and a half. After Mama went back to work, Papa stayed home with her for a few days. Then this past week Grandma Holly came to stay and take care of her. I think they had a good time together. It's going to be a rude awakening next week when Grandma is not around to help out! We weighed her ourselves this morning, and we think she weighs over 8 lbs now. We can really tell she has gotten bigger! Today Great Aunt and Uncle Cindy and Carey came to meet Brynn. They held her all afternoon and she slept so good! She is still such a good girl. Her pediatrician says we still need to wake her to eat every 5 hours in the night. It sure seems crazy to wake a sleeping baby in the middle of the night! She starts daycare on Tuesday; which will probably be harder on Mama than anyone else. She can really focus on objects well now; and she likes to look at people's faces. She is a smiley baby and very cuddly. Brynn likes to sit in her swing and look at the fish
