We had a very busy day this past Saturday: Brynn got her first big haircut ; we said good -bye to our cat, Fatty; we attended Kite Day at a nearby park; went to a friend's birthday party in Hawley, and drove to Grandpa and Grandma Froemming's to celebrate Mother's Day. It was a great weekend, but a little sad when Fatty left. Mother Hen Brynn was trying hard to comfort me when she noticed I was a little sad and missing Fatty. That conversation went something like this: Brynn (noticing some tears coming from Mom): "Mom, are you sad?" Me: "Yes, a little bit. But, it's okay." Brynn: "Why?" Me: "Well, I just miss Fatty." Brynn (patting my am): "Oh...do you want some ice cream?" Ha ha. You could tell she wanted to be able to do something for me, but she couldn't quite figure out what.
