Holiday Lights Parade and Turkey Day

Happy belated Thanksgiving. We hosted at our house again and had a another great Turkey Day! This year for the first time the three of us attended the Holiday Lights Parade downtown the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Since it was so warm, it made it even more enjoyable. We may have to make that a tradition, so long as the weather cooperates. Baking a sugar cookie in the Easy Bake Oven with the girls. Mr. & Mrs. Claus! Brynn was very excited to see them. Watching Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

We've been doing a lot of 'Pinteresting' things...

It's true - I am now addicted to Pinterest . If you are not familiar, it's this awesome "virtual pin board" kind of website where people post recipes, fashion, popular culture, photography, home decor ideas, etc. So, here are a few things I had found on Pinterest and then made....well, Tessa and I and/or Brynn and I made them. :-) Southwest Eggrolls with a cilantro lime dipping sauce. Tessa and I made these deer hunting weekend. Delish! Ghost lanterns made from milk jugs. Brynn always likes pretending that she is having a campfire. I saw this on Pinterest and thought she'd get a kick out of it. It's just made out of paper towel rolls and tissue paper...oh and those rocks. The rocks later became 'potatoes' that laid around the house for a week. :-P

Disney Live!

This weekend while the guys were deer hunting, my sister, Tessa, Theresa (Tessa's sister-in-law), and I took the girls to Bismarck for Disney Live! It was such a great show and the girls had an awesome time attending in costume! Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White This weekend we found out if we're going to have another niece or this time a nephew. I was surprised to cut into the cake and find blue frosting! :-)
