More holiday happenings

The Christmas season continues for us as Brynn helped Grandma Laurie bake some Christmas cookies on Friday. We also celebrated cousin Reagan's birthday on Saturday and today Brynn sang in church. The church video link is below. We were one of several crazy parents trying to take pictures and/or video, so bear that in mind while watching. :-) Brynn is in the back/top row, a little to the right. She's the shorty sandwiched in between two other girls.  Brynn singing in church Reagan celebrated her 5th birthday with a Tiana-themed party.

In the spirit!

We are very much into the holiday spirit around our house. Brynn has really gotten into Christmas this year and helped put up the tree again, bake cookies, wrap gifts, etc. She has seen Santa three times already now and was so disappointed when she realized we were one of the only houses on our block without exterior holiday lights. So, she sweet talked Dana into putting up lights this year, which we just got done this weekend! At least the weather was actually pretty conducive to scaling the roof to put lights up.  Last night we went through the area businesses' lights display put on by the Sertoma Club at Lindenwood Park. That was pretty much a bust, so we drove ourselves through a 'nicer' neighborhood close to our own. That was much more fun and free. :-) Daycare told us that if they would let Brynn listen, dance and sing along to Christmas music all day long, she would. We have our manger scene set up this year as well, and it has seemed to be a really good visual fo

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Cinderella and I baked Christmas cookies today. Yup, this is our child. Ha. She made a cape out of a grocery sack. :-) Gotta love the imagination!
