Happy Birthday, Daddy

Dana's birthday was this past Wednesday, so to celebrate we baked a cake for Daddy, made a card and took him out to TX Roadhouse, his favorite restaurant. Happy Birthday, Daddy! "No more pictures, Mom!" I wrote out "Happy Birthday" for her on a sheet of paper so she could copy the words onto her card. This was the result. :-) I think the bottom part is supposed to say "I love you." The white part on top was supposed to be a Yamaha symbol. The whole cake ended up looking kind of homely.

Cousin Time

This past weekend Brynn and I headed west to visit the Weckerlys in Hurdsfield. Brynn had a great time with the cousins, of course. They found some mud, we had a bonfire and Grandma Laurie took all three girls to the circus in Harvey. Thanks, Grandma! S'mores! Bringing wood up for the fire. We also came to Hurdsfield to visit this little guy, so I figured I'd better include a pic of him, too. He is such a good baby. Brynn loves babies anyway, so she was looking forward to loving him up all weekend. Here they are at the circus. Grandma bought them some souvenirs. Great, my kid got the trumpet. :-)

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter this year celebrating with Dana's side. Brynn's daycare was closed on Good Friday, so Brynn went ahead on to Froemmings' a day early. Here she is soaking her feet, recapping what she had done so far this weekend, as interviewed by Grandma Holly. Then, all the pics to back it up. We hope everyone had a good Easter, too. Planting potatoes with Papa Kevin Hard at work sweeping out the garage at Grandpa and Grandma's. Oh, she saw something exciting. I don't remember what it was. Dying eggs. Working on an Easter house for Grandma Holly. Musical jewelry box she got from Uncle John and Auntie Christel for Easter. In the midst of the hunt! She RAN to every egg she saw. She was so excited.
