Froemmings

Last weekend Shelly and Lester came for a visit. The girls were so excited to have them come stay. We all had a lot of laughs together, as usual. Clara showed Shel how to draw a cat. Grandpa and Grandma Dietz were at the lake all during the week last week as well as the Weckerlys for a couple of those days. Brynn and Clara got to go stay for a bit too. The beach at Detroit Lakes. We've been hitting up the pool pretty frequently at home. This past Thursday the girls and I headed back home to pick up Reagan to come stay with us and to visit Grandma Darlene. On our way to Fessenden, I took the girls on a detour to our old farm. Everything still looks so nice and pretty much the same as when we left! The garage doors are different and the shutters and this deck are "new" though. No one was home so we weren't able to chat with the current owners or see inside the house or anything, but it was still pretty neat to stop. Brynn dug into Grandma's eraser collection when we...

Brynn is almost to the end of her second and final week of the Junior Zookeeper program at the Red River Zoo. Before it started, Brynn was asking me what I thought she would be doing there. I told her that they'd probably put her to work which would include scooping poop. She suddenly wasn't as interested to attend for some reason. I told her that I actually had no idea what they'd be doing, but she had initially wanted to sign up since she loves animals so much. She has had the best time! She goes from 1:00-5:00 every day. She actually has been scooping poop which she says she doesn't even mind. It's been so fun and interesting to learn about what she's doing each day. It's been a really great experience.
