Fall Things + Miscellany

 Side-by-side rides. I think I'm going to write "Clara snuggles" on the thankful pumpkin this year. Brynn's completed LEGO flower set that she got from Hubert. So cool! Making Scotcheroos/Special K bars. We finally watched the live action Little Mermaid. Clara thought she was going to be spooked by Ursula, but I think she pulled through okay. Not as good as the animated version, in my opinion, but Ariel's character did a great job. Last Sunday CNH had a family day and Dana, Brynn and I went for a bit after church. The two pieces of equipment are Dana's toys from childhood and the belt buckle was given to him by Uncle Carey (which I'm assuming was probably my grandpa's.) Clara Jo and Brynn at a football game. Football + Kohl's Trip + Kevin's Birthday Party

We've been trying to make it to as many of the home JV football games as we can as that's the team Hubert plays on (which are typically on Monday nights). A couple of Mondays ago, it was rainy so Brynn did go with her friend, but Clara and I opted to watch from the comfort of our couch. I'm sure it was pretty miserable. :-( Well, Clara and I were reading AND watching the game.  Oopsies. Brynn's umbrella malfunctioned. Clara leveled up again in swimming lessons and just started a new session. We made a quick trip up to Kohl's Resort with the ATVs and had a great afternoon of riding. The fall colors were starting to appear up there. We were able to catch dinner with Christel and John before we head to head back home as I had to teach Sunday school the following day. Brynn and Hubert double-dated with another friend couple downtown last weekend and apparently it was gaming day at Broadway Square and they made it into the newspaper.
