Froemmings

I think I had forgotten to include the pic of Clara and I shopping for school supplies in my last post, but it's probably more fitting for this one anyhow. We pretty quickly checked off the items on her list and were on our way!   Brynn made some pumpkin cinnamon rolls with espresso icing. They were divine! Clara's back to school night was Monday. Her accelerated literacy teacher also has advanced math students she works with. Her classroom moved to a different room this year and she provided some clues as to where it was. Clearly it was geared more for the math students versus reading. Ha. It was a stumper. Clara wrote down the clues so she could try to figure it out on her own. Mrs. Warner did also include the answer, and even knowing it, Brynn, Clara and I still struggled to figure it out. Whew! More forms, putting things away in her desk and meeting her teacher. Cookies! Dad helped her get her bike washed up so she and I could ride to school this morning. Clara got up brigh...

 A couple of weekends ago, Dana met up with Roger and Zander and did a bunch of fishing at Dead Lake. And so did Clara, but at Duck Lake with my parents. I think I've gotten all out of order here now, but during the week, Clara spent a few days at my parents' lake. Then she went on for the weekend to Amanda's aunt and uncle's farm which back' home' around where Amanda and I grew up. Adria wanted to bring Clara along and she had a great time there. They did all the things Amanda and I used to do growing up together, including eating at Rosa's Pizza and going thrift shopping. They even visited our old school and the farm where I grew up. Amanda's aunt is so sweet. She sent some hot dish leftovers that they had with this note. I mowed lawn (well, only a small portion of it) for the second time in our marriage! ha. The last time I mowed was at our other house when I was pregnant with Brynn. We overhauled Clara's room in a cleaning spree. It felt so good....

Tessa helped me take Brynn's senior pics when we were in North Carolina and then later on near Orchard Glen back home. These are my favs! Thank you to auntie for doing photos with me. It was so fun and after so many years of taking pictures of Brynn, crazy to think these are for for senior year. 💜
