'The Smurfs', BFF Reagan, Rheault Farm Fall Festival

What another busy, but super-fun weekend for Brynn. On Friday she trekked to Hurdsfield for a movie and sleepover at cousins Reagan and Elise's house. Auntie Tessa took Reagan and Brynn to see 'The Smurfs" in the movie theater. I talked to Tessa at about midnight on Friday just to hear all the hilarity that ensued during their 'date.' We were laughing so hard. Reagan and Brynn each refer to other as each other's best friend now. It's so sweet.  Saturday Brynn came back to Fargo with Grandpa and Grandma Dietz. We went out to eat and came home where Brynn could show off her tap dancing to Grandpa and Grandma; and then tell all of us to 'settle down.' :-) Today we went to the Rheault Farm Fall Festival. It was gloomy, chilly and rainy this morning, but you wouldn't have known it by the afternoon. It was perfect weather. Brynn rode the barrel train, went on a carriage ride, decorated a cookie, visited the petting zoo and went on inflatables. It wa

Tiny Dancer

This weekend was a big weekend for Brynn. Sunday she started Sunday School for the first time. It sure was weird being in church without her! She had no problems with us leaving her for her class and was busy coloring when we came back for her. And she even got a snack, so she was pretty excited about that. I think she'll enjoy Sunday School. Then later in the day we attended Brynn's great-great grandma's funeral visitation (Dana's great-grandma) and her funeral and burial today. Brynn had never been to a funeral before, so in true Brynn fashion, there were lots of questions. I think she knows all there is to know about funerals now. She did very well, though. We'll miss great-grandma very much, but have much peace knowing she has gone home after 102 long years!  Tonight was Brynn's first dance class. It's a pre-school introductory dance class, so she is learning ballet, hip-hop and tap. We even had to buy the tap and ballet shoes, leotards and tights. So

Sleepover, jewelry and tea party

This weekend we went to Grandpa and Grandma Dietz's to celebrate Grandma Laurie's birthday with her. Brynn had a fun time playing with the cousins, as usual.  This coming week Brynn will start her dance class and Sunday School. They've already started another round of gymnastics through her daycare and TNT Kids Fitness.  Brynn is always asking questions and now more frequently about God. She has always had a fascination with the moon and last night she asked me if there was only one moon. I said there was and she asked me if God made the moon. I told her He did. To this she replied, "when my name is God I'm going to have three moons." Ha. Sounds good, Brynn. Brynn and Reagan had a sleepover on Friday night. The pop beads were a popular theme throughout the weekend. Here's Papa Kim, me and Brynn modeling the creations. Dana having a tea party with the Unabomber. :-)
