Better than pictures...

...is video! We finally got around to digging out our video camera to get Brynn footage. How sad it has taken us almost 10 months! (Sorry it's such low res. We had to set it at a lower quality so that it would load onto the blog.) Brynn came to Mama's work and Trick-or-Treated there with the other kids. After we got home we went out up and down our block. She seemed to have a good time. She was so cute! Our friend Karlie came to Trick-or-Treat and then we just stayed home and handed out candy. Below are a couple excerpts of conversations I had with Trick-or-Treaters. Me: Are you a boy or a girl? (In my defense this child's costume wasn't much of anything and she had a skirt and other girly things on. However, she had extremely short hair, and was young enough that it was difficult to tell the difference. I also recognize that normally that is a pretty rude thing to ask someone, but I like to try and figure out what the kids' costumes are...anyway...) Boyish Girl:

Fall Is Here

Busy Brynn

Brynn reading up on tractors in anticipation of going to visit Cousin Reagan in November. Brynn on the move.

Brynn Learns Some Tricks

Brynn is now clapping and waving. It is too cute to watch! She likes to wave at herself in the mirror and clap for herself when she eats. She still isn't full blown crawling yet, but she gets up on all fours a lot more by herself and she is starting to pull herself forward with her arms. She likes to dance, too, when music is played. And as is quite apparent when she grins, she still has no teeth. That sure doesn't seem to slow her down with eating, though! She pretty much eats whatever you put in front of her. Obviously, she is her father's daughter there. Thank goodness. She sure likes to feed herself. At her 9-month check-up on Friday she weighed 15 lbs 10 oz and was 26 inches. She has grown almost 10 inches since she was born. And she has more than tripled her birth weight.

Lil Bear Cub

Happy Halloween...early. Brynn is going to be a polar bear cub for Halloween this year. We hope she gets us lots of candy!

Yunker Farm/Children's Museum

Today Brynn's daycare went out to Yunker Farm and Museum for a tour and pumpkin selecting. I would have said pumpkin picking, but they were already picked. :-) Brynn had a blast! She really loved the pumpkins. Brynn also rode a carousel with Mama and the other kids. ) She was so funny. She hung on to the reins and was smiling the whole time. It was fun to go back there today, as my parents had taken my sister and me when we were kids. The place sure has changed, but they really do a good job. As you can see in the group shot below, not everyone was having a wonderful experience the entire time. He he.

Brynn's Playdate and New Toy

Brynn's new ride. She likes to shift and if you don't keep her moving, she starts hopping/jumping to say "let's go!" Brynn's friend, Karlie (15 mos), came over to play on Saturday.

I turned my camera back on...

Brynn and Cousin Reagan "Fatty, wait for me!" Brynn is picking out her clothes for the day. Twins! Snuggles
