Memorial Weekend

We had a nice Memorial Weekend which was mostly spent around home. On Sunday we did head down to Fergus/Ashby, MN for a graduation party and spent the night at Dana's parents that night.  Monday Rosha was able to come over to play in the afternoon. Brynn was so excited. I should have taken a picture of it because they emptied out about 95% of the contents in Brynn's room and set up shop in the family room. They were having a good time. My cousin from St. Cloud was passing through on his way back home. So, he stopped and ate supper with us...which I was glad he did, as he'll be moving to Arizona within a week or so and then I won't see him very often. Girly girl Brynn. Brynn and Rosha dancing. My cousin Jon and me. Luckily he crouched down so that both of us could fit in the picture. When we were at Grandpa and Grandma Froemmings', Brynn helped Grandma Holly plant in her garden and then they planted this geranium together. Brynn got to bring

Updates

Monday night was the last night of gymnastics for this session. We are taking a break for the summer and then I hope to sign her up again in the fall. Other than our annual trip to Swan Lake, it will be a pretty quiet summer for Brynn. She didn't want me to sign her up for any activities, so she'll continue going to preschool/daycare every day like usual. She is a homebody and I'm sure she gets played out from being gone all day, every day, so we'll just hang out at home in the evenings and spend time at the park.  She loves painting her nails herself. Friday night Brynn attended her friend Rosha's birthday party. She had a great time, and since they live so close, we were able to just walk on over. Tessa and the cousins came up on Friday night and spent the night. Of course the kids had fun playing together. Otherwise, we did have a nice rest of the weekend around home. Brynn helped me wash my car yesterday and today we did some furniture shopping

Mother's Day and Papa Kim's Birthday

On Friday we headed to Carrington and stayed until Saturday to celebrate my Dad's birthday and an early Mother's Day. Today we celebrated with Dana's mom. Happy Mother's Day! Elise and Brynn helping Grandpa blow out his birthday candles. Brynn and Great-Grandma Darlene Four Generations Grandma Holly and Brynn The decorative plate and card Brynn made for me. I love it! Busy outside today. "There must be 12 inches of water in here!" she said. :-) It was a beautiful night for a bike ride. Watching Peppa Pig on my tablet after her bath tonight. I realized after putting all the pics on my computer tonight, that I never got one together with my own mom for Mother's Day. So, I resurrected an oldie. :-)

Dress Your Best

Today's theme day at preschool was 'Dress Your Best.' Brynn LOVES to wear dresses so she was all about this day! Especially when she thought it would be an opportune time to wear a princess dress out of the house. She was Cinderella today and requested a 'special' breakfast also. So, I heated up some leftover chocolate chip pancakes that Dad had made us last weekend.    Princess poses.

Rosha and Brynn

We were back out to the park tonight. Brynn and Rosha usually have a standing park meeting time of 7:00 pm. We were a little late getting there tonight. We were too busy gawking at three mallard ducks in our driveway. I was too slow with my camera, so unfortunately, I didn't get any shots of them. They were so cute, though. The drake was waddling by, quack-quacking. Racing to get to the park to meet Rosha. Love those dimples! Preparing the starting line for bike races. They like to boss each other. :-) Getting lined up for the race. Off they go. Rosha had to make some adjustments before the next race.
