The end of April

Here are some updates as April comes to an end.. Clara and Cora at soccer practice last week. For work we did an Earth Day garbage pick-up challenge, so we went along University (in the ditch) to see what we could find. Grandpa Kim, Grandpa and Grandma Froemming and Brynn came to watch Clara's Saturday soccer game. We were all freezing, but the kids didn't seem to be bothered; probably because they were running around so much. After the game we went to Granite City for another birthday dinner for Dana. Brynn was encroaching on Dad's dessert. :-) 💗💗💗 After lunch we went to Fessenden to visit Grandma Darlene and spent the night at Tessa's house. Ollie and Clara had sleepover and so did the older girls. I think these two actually got the most sleep out of anyone. :-)  On Sunday we celebrated Oliver's 5th birthday with an amazing Hot Wheels cake. So fun. Happy birthday, Oliver!  On Tuesday we had a concrete apron poured in front of our back garage, so we had to put t...

Soccer + Dana's 40th Birthday

This week Clara started soccer, though they weren't able to have their first/only practice on Wednesday due to weather. Their schedule is as such that they have practice on Wednesdays and then a game on Saturday or Sunday. So, I wasn't sure then if they'd still go ahead with their first game if they hadn't even had one practice yet. We are new to the soccer circuit since Brynn didn't do soccer and this is Clara's first year playing. We received notification, though, that it was still game on for Saturday! So, I last-minute got Clara some shin guards and she was all set after her soccer ball arrived from Amazon and we got her jersey back with her name emblazoned on the back.  I believe there are 66 different teams in the Fargo Soccer Club, beginning with pre-K, probably up through grade school or even middle (I'm not for sure). Clara's team, the robins, is made up of eight other girls.  So, the little teams just play against each other, kind of scrimmage ...

Easter 2021

Since we didn't have a chance to do Peep s'mores when we were at Tessa's house last, we were able to take home some Peeps to do on our own. Thanks, Auntie! The girls had Friday off of school for the holiday, but were distance learning on Wednesday and Thursday again for school staff to receive vaccinations.  After they got their school work done on Wednesday, the girls dyed eggs. Wednesday night the girls went to Grandpa and Grandma Froemmings' to stay until Dana and I were planning to join them later on Saturday. Grandpa helping with homework. It was our friend, Dave's, 40th birthday on Friday night, so we went out to celebrate at Rough Cut, an axe-throwing place in town. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was actually really fun. Dana loaded up our four-wheelers on Saturday and we all headed out for a nice ride right when we got to Kevin and Holly's. The girls had picked out some stuff with Grandma at the dollar store in town and Brynn and Grandma made a...
