Froemmings

Clara was excitedly awaiting Saturday night to attend the Butterfly Ball. She made herself some pancakes in the morning and tried to fashion the chocolate chips into a butterfly shape. We found her dress on Amazon and it was a little too big so we pinned the sides with safety pins which I don't think was too noticeable...especially not at the dark dance anyhow. She was staring at herself in the mirror. hehe. They started serving chicken tenders and mac and cheese at the ball, so they opted for that instead of going out to eat beforehand. Adria was also attending with her dad the same night so they had a fun time together. 

We are still alive out here. I'm finally sitting down to do a blog update. We had a get-together at our house with some of my friends from the gym. We usually do a theme of some sort and we went with breakfast for this one. And obviously we would wear our PJs then. Genius. We had an amazing spread! My mom had given me a bottle of Rum Chata that she wasn't going to use, so I took advantage of that and make a Cinnamon Toast Crunch drink to serve. It turned out pretty good! Our food contribution was chicken and waffles. Brynn did the chicken and Dana made the waffles. Clara's class went to the fairgrounds for an ag education day. Hanging with Brynn. We three ate at Crave when Brynn was working one night. Always delish. The size of this chocolate cake was crazy. Ahh, that new book smell.  Clara held a planet show for us after we were unable to view the planets that we were supposed to be aligned.
