Happy New Year

It was great to have a day off part way through the week. I had a whole list of things I had wanted to get done today, most of them in preparation for Brynn's birthday parties this weekend. We did get strawberry cupcakes made for her friend party and part of her cake for her family party baked. The mix REALLY smelled like strawberry! Taking an opportunity for a little math lesson in the middle of baking. ;-) She got it right! Ms. Supervisor and me. To follow is the main reason I didn't get any of the other things on my list  accomplished  today. Christmas: Part Two

This past weekend we celebrated Christmas with my side at my parents' in Carrington. We got in many games of ping pong, one game of Pictionary, and Grandpa Kim even made us all popcorn in his new popcorn maker this morning. Brynn opening her Dream Lite from Great Uncle Randy. Giving Reagan a thank-you hug for a gift. Cinderella!!! Brynn got rollerblades from the Weckerlys. Daddy is looking forward to having someone to rollerblade with. Camera from Mom and Dad. Leotard for gymnastics. Also from Mom and Dad. Great-Grandma D getting some help blowing out her birthday candles.

Christmas

This coming weekend we will celebrate Christmas with my side.  It's always sort of a concern of mine if Brynn will understand what Christmas is really about, but Uncle John was gracious enough to share his own birthday cake with Jesus upon Brynn's suggestion. She even sang Him happy birthday. We hope everyone else had a great Christmas, too! The Froemming Family 'Snow White' from Grandpa and Grandma Brynn's own laptop from Grandpa and Grandma. The princess castle!!! Best. Picture. Ever. LOL The ornament Brynn made for us in preschool. It was the cutest thing! Daddy and Uncle John trying to set up the 50+-piece castle. Getting Santa's cookies ready. Making sure Santa has enough milk. New pajamas from Santa! Boo! Tape! Brynn was excited to receive the gift she had asked for from Santa: a Ci...
