What a great day we had yesterday. Brynn and I made pancakes for breakfast while we waited for Daddy to wake up so we could all go to the Bouncin' Bash. We went last year and Brynn has been excited to go back ever since. It's held in the Veterans Memorial Arena in West Fargo and they have a bunch of inflatables and some games for kids. Brynn seemed to be taking her time warming up to the inflatables, but the Froemming in her came out when we went to the Wild West Shootout game. The set-up was using dart guns that you aim at Velcro circle targets on a backdrop. We must have spent 20 minutes at this thing alone. She was a pro by the time we left there.
After a quick trip to Wal-mart, we headed home to enjoy the great weather for the rest of the day. Brynn was outside from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm, only coming into the house for bathroom breaks and supper. She washed her trike and bike, collected more pine cones for her pine cone collection, started a berry collection, made a 'zizzer' (as she called it) out of a stick, went on two bike rides and one four-wheeler ride, vacuumed the trunk of my car, fed Monkey some leaves, watched some boys play street hockey (and tried to join in), bungeed her bike and trike together, played with bubbles, pretended she was a dog, and apparently found the biggest rock EVER! She was a busy girl. So busy, she had no time for a nap, and didn't even fight me once going to bed. And even admitted to being tired.
Mama's tired, too. On that four-wheeler ride I mentioned, we had to stop at each sidewalk stamp because she asked me to read the construction company names to her. You would think there would only be one stamp per block, but I guess that's not the case! We went at least four blocks. We got a chance to all get on our bikes and go for a ride. It was so cute riding behind her, watching her little legs pedal non-stop going around our neighborhood with Monkey strapped into the carrier seat in back. I wish I could have gotten a picture of that, too. I think she's going to ride that thing until the wheels fall off.
