I think this was one of the busiest weekends we've had in a long time...or possibly ever! It was a great one, though. On Friday we celebrated with my best friend, Amanda, as she got married here in Fargo. Grandpa Kim and Grandma Laurie also came to the wedding, and of course, Brynn had a great time bustin' a move at the dance. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding, and I heard that she was not pleased that I was up there at the altar without her. When the ceremony was over, she asked why I was with that "other guy," aka the groomsman. :-)
Amanda bought her a special headband to wear to the wedding. |

Saturday morning we headed back home to Fessenden to take in the Wells County Fair. It had been years since I had last been there, and we hadn't ever taken Brynn there yet. I used to be in 4-H, so it was pretty nostalgic for me just to go to the fair itself again, but we also went through the animal barns where Tessa and I used to have our own horse, calf and bunnies. We met up with the cousins there, too, and Brynn had fun going on some of the rides with them....and me. She was scared at first to go on some of them, so Mom had to climb on board for one go around.
The main reason we came back home was for Benjamin's baptism on Sunday. What a special day for him. His godmother, Jenna, is an old family friend and classmate of my sister's. It was great to see her again and celebrate Benjamin's baptism with the rest of the family.
