Christmas #2

On Sunday we celebrated Christmas with Grandpa Kevin's family at Dana's cousin's and his wife's house. Many of those relatives hadn't met Clara yet, and it was nice to get together with everyone. All the relatives thought Clara looks like Auntie Christel. I can't argue with that. We played some games and ate a lot of good food! One of the games the kids played was to try and open a gift with mittens on. Pretty humorous.  The other kids' game was to tie a Kleenex box onto your backside and try to wiggle the bells out of the opening. I think Brynn won this round against Logan there. This game involved everyone. We had to try and stick balloons into pantyhose or reindeer antlers. It was very difficult and our team lost...by a lot. :-) Our team  We do a gift exchange with the adults and between all the cousins' kids. Brynn received a scrapbooking kit and was so excited, she got to work on it right away when we got home.

Christmas 2014

This year we were at Dana's side for Christmas. We had a wonderful holiday and it was extra special since it was Clara's first Christmas. so excited to get the Elsa dress from Grandpa and Grandma art supplies! Clara got two baby dolls! And a rocking horse. Brynn carefully selecting cookies for Santa. Dad photobombing Wake up, little Suzie. Christmas morning. She likes to sleep on her side. She is a morning person once she gets up. She is an all-day person actually. She is always happy and smiling. Dad got a back scratcher from Santa.   Bath tablets that color the water. Super fun.  Santa brought Brynn a big sister ornament. I love her reaction.  It looks as though she has lost her excitement here, but she said she really loved the ornament. Clara with her Santa gifts. Grandpa had to head back to work at the power plant Christmas Day, so we went and visited him at work and went bowli

Christmas is coming...

Friday night we made it out for our annual holiday lights tour. We had to take a couple of pics before we left. Snoozy Suzie didn't make it very long before she fell asleep.   Clara has been eating more and more ounces of milk in her bottles and seems to eat quite a bit around supper time. She just stares and watches us eat supper, looking left out. I had wondered then if it was time to start cereal with her. So, we tried a little bit on Friday night. Down the hatch! This was probably one of the better, more positive looks that she had on her face throughout the whole ordeal. She seemed to think it was pretty yucky, and then when I picked her up out of the high chair, she spit up what appeared to be the whole works. :-/ Try again later. For now, we're holding off. Fell asleep in the bouncy chair. On Saturday Brynn had her first piano recital. It was in Penny's home and even both sets of grandparents got to come watch. She ended up going first
