Summer Miscellany & Bemidji Visit

We were still having great weather last week and Brynn wanted to chat outside before bedtime which led to some humorous conversation. ;-)  Clara's favorite prayer that they do at school is Johnny Appleseed.  Clara and her best friend. This pic of them was too cute. Clara has begun her transition to the preschool room at Hope and is loving it. By Friday of this week, she will be a full-fledged preschooler! Last week's summer camp theme at Hope was Christmas in July. I couldn't stop laughing at this picture of Brynn wrapped up like a Christmas tree. Last Thursday Grandpa and Grandma Dietz took the girls for a day out in Fargo which included Chuck E Cheese, mini golf and shopping. They had so much fun. Clara helping Daddy with my bike. Brynn kept shooting Clara with her Nerf dart gun. Clara's pretty oblivious at first. She thought she was going to turn on me next. This past weekend Uncle

Beauty & the Beast

Our friends, Kelli and Haylie (Brynn's preschool classmate), had extra tickets to the Beauty and the Beast production performed by the Trollwood Performing Arts School at the Bluestem Amphitheater and invited us to Tuesday's show. It was the first time I had attended an event at Bluestem and it was a beautiful night outside.  The actors did an excellent job and we had great seats, so it was a fun night. Fun, but very late, since it didn't begin until 8:30!

Dietz Get-together

Last Saturday the Dietz crew, plus other friends and fam, gathered again at Lake Franklin. It was a beautiful day so it was great to be outside. I don't think we've hardly had poor weather all the years we've been getting together.  Clara and Ollie swam in the lil kid pool. Brynn and Lisey Lou with their matching life jackets. Poor Oliver was so tired out from no nap (and Chad too!) he was falling asleep trying to eat a bite of supper. He snoozed for a couple of minutes and then snapped awake and was back into action. Thanks to my aunt and uncle for hosting us all again. It was a fun day together. We headed to Dead Lake from Lake Franklin and spent Saturday night there. Clara still loves doing hair and Grandma was a willing client on Sunday morning. Doing some coloring before lunch.
