Halloween 2017

Happy Halloween! I feel like we are all tuckered out tonight from all our hard trick-or-treating! Watching all those scary movies finally paid off! :-) The gang at my work. After seeing the Wonder Woman movie a couple of weeks ago, I knew that's what I had to dress up as for Halloween. The kids trick or treating at my office. This house was the only one in our little cul-de-sac that had its lights on, so we made sure to hit them up. I hadn't met the lady who lives there yet, so it was nice to not only meet her, but she had fun stuff for the kids as she had been anticipating them coming over. Sadly, I don't think we get any trick-or-treaters out by us. Since it was a very quick trip through our little neighborhood, we went back to our old stompin grounds for old time's sake. We made sure to visit Rodney's (the dog) house, but sadly learned that Rodney passed away in April. It was a nice Halloween, although pretty chilly. Ou

Halloween Preview

A little catch-up before we head into the Halloween stuff... Last week the girls completed their session of gymnastics. They'll start again in the next session this coming Thursday.  Such a pretty sunset from last week. Last Friday night was the Fall Festival at Brynn's school. The girls got dressed in their costumes and we all headed out. As you can probably tell, Clara is going as a black kitty this year and Brynn is a witch. Brynn spent time putting on her green face, only to remove it before we left for the party. :-/ Clara was asking the festival workers for 'tickles,' however she really meant tickets. haha. The lady was happy to oblige for the tickles. Brynn saw her friends right away and ran around with them most of the time. The dance is always a happenin' event at the festival. It's so entertaining to watch all the kids dancing around with their costumes. Clara ran into a couple

Pumpkin Patch

Last Monday it was a gorgeous day and Brynn had been wanting to check out the cemetery across the road from our house. So, we headed over there since it was such a nice day. We were excited to have Auntie Tessa and the cousins come visit this past weekend, though I managed to get through the whole weekend without taking photos. Geez. They kids had a fun time, of course, and it was great to have them. On Sunday the girls got out Brynn's Easy Bake Oven to try and make some treats. It was pretty sketchy, though, as Brynn had misplaced the baking pan that is supposed to be used with the oven. I didn't end up trying any of their treats, but I think Dana did. We still hadn't visited any pumpkin patches this year, so on Sunday afternoon after Clara's non-nap we headed out by Davenport to the Rusty K Ranch. They had so much stuff to do there. It was a great set-up, but I wanted to leave about 15 minutes in because I thought it was cold
