March Recap

We had a soup potluck at our house with friends from the gym. So much good food.   ....and drinks. Brynn made a tres leches cake for us. Very delicious. Jim is a Spanish teacher at the middle school where Brynn attended (and actually was her Spanish teacher). So, the tres leches was made for Jim especially as he just was awarded teacher of the year for all of Fargo Public Schools. Clara playing games with everyone. Unfortunately I took a tumble and hurt my back - I was at MN State Community and Technical College shortly after that for some mock job interviews with their students and saw this sign - gave me flashbacks. Already it was time again for my California trade show. I was looking forward to some sunshine and warmer temperatures.  The trade show and I are the same age! This show started in 1981, just like I did. Thankfully what made my back feel the best was walking, so that worked out walking to and from the convention center and then on my feet all day. February Recap

Brynn made some cute little clay creations. Clara competed with her car in the Pinewood Derby for Scouts. The next day Clara had her second swim meet for the Red Dragons at Brynn's HS. Brynn put together this treat bucket for her. 💓 I'm not sure if that's her in the water there as I thought this was a photo of her when I uploaded it, but I think it was a video and it took a still of that. ha. Anyhow, she did quite well this meet, so that was exciting. Clara was invited to join the spring session of the robotics league at school. They are still working to finalize a couple more (adult) engineer volunteers so that they can move forward. We had Clara's friends over to watch the Super Bowl and had some nachos. Clara doing laundry. Clara had her crossing over ceremony to a full scout from a cub scout.
