This weekend was a busy one for Brynn. Friday night we spent 45 minutes in the movie store picking out a couple of movies while Mommy exercised as much patience as she could muster during the flick pick process. :-)
Saturday, Brynn's friend Avva came over for a play-date and sleepover. They had such a fun time playing together and making cupcakes. We only ran into a little snag once bedtime got underway and Avva began to feel a little homesick. So, we did take her back home, but it was still a successful first sleepover as far as Brynn was concerned.
Then today Grandpa & Grandma Froemming took us all to the circus. We saw elephants, tigers and trapeze artists. Brynn seemed to really enjoy it. We were all really amazed at how the high wire performers didn't use any nets or harnesses, except one twelve-year-old girl who balanced atop a very high pole. Brynn told Grandma her favorite part was the elephants.
Brynn and I also wrote a short book today. The bottom picture is an excerpt. It was mostly about a sheep, but also starred Brynn, Mommy, a spider and a bird. I asked her what the title of her book should be and she told me: "B-r-y-n-n-n." So, "Brynnn" by Brynn Marie it was.
