10 years

This past Thursday Dana and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. Those first ten years sure have gone by fast. And what an exciting year it is shaping up to be...celebrating our 10th anniversary and soon after welcoming the addition of our second child. This first decade has been filled with so many great memories and blessings, we are both looking forward to the decades to come. This picture was one of my favorites from our wedding day, taken by our good friend, Roger. We went out to eat at Maxwell's in West Fargo. It was our first experience there, and we were impressed. They had a live band playing and the food and service were great. The manager even felt compelled to help me up out of our booth...I must have looked like I was struggling. :-) They even gave us a free dessert since it was our anniversary. Then we went out to a movie afterward. Flowers from Dana. They looked and smelled beautiful. Anniversary greetings from Brynn. Not sure about

Wells County Fair

Brynn loves to watch many different kinds of YouTube videos, and the other day she got caught up on some cupcake decorating videos. So, naturally we had to then make cupcakes and test out what she learned. She wanted to know how many different tips I had for decorating. I got out all my stuff and I held the piping bag shut while she decorated them how she wanted. I should have took some pics of the final products because they did turn out fairly well, however below is what the kitchen looked like when we were done and she had to get to bed, so needless to say I had some cleaning up to do and I was already pooped myself.  A craft she made at Hope. Don't forget to "chrust" in God. ;-) This past weekend Brynn and I headed west to Fessenden for the Wells County Fair. It's always fun to come back and see everyone from my hometown. Brynn loves the rides, of course, and looking at the exhibits in the women's building and 4-H building. It was beastly hot on S

BUMPdate: 33 Weeks

Today marks 33 weeks with 7 more to go! I had my last check-up on Tuesday in which I received my weekly progesterone shot and listened to the baby's heartbeat and all that. My doctor was surprised at how low I am carrying. Her head continues to be down and to the left with her butt apparently up and to the right. It feels usually like she's punching my pelvis. When I am sitting down it always feels like my belly is resting in my lap.  I am still feeling pretty good, but am rapidly losing sight of my ankles. :-( I was hoping if it hadn't happened by now that maybe I would be good to go, but alas, they are puffing up. They get pretty stiff by the end of the day. Mom, I am trying to elevate and rotate! :-)  Otherwise, the heartbeat was good and strong and everything else looked great at my appointment. I get a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions daily which are getting pretty annoying, but aren't posing any harm or issues, I guess. The doctor estimated the baby to b

Happy Father's Day

This week Brynn came home from Hope with a grocery sack full of fabric scraps. She was determined to make a blanket/quilt; one each for her and her sister. She divided up the scraps for each of the blankets, and make sure they made it along with us to Grandpa & Grandma Froemmings' this weekend. With the rainy weather, she and Grandma were able to work on the blankets yesterday afternoon. I took a few pics at the beginning and then laid down for a snooze while they were sewing. I woke up to the masterpieces when they were finished. Brynn thought it was so cool. Thanks, Grandma!  Holly is holding Brynn's and Brynn has baby sister's. They turned out great! Brynn LOVES doing hair. She likes braiding her own, but I think when she gets a hold of Auntie Christel's hair, she is just in heaven. It's like playing with a life-size Barbie doll! Here she braided Christel's hair into three separate sections/braids and then braided those three sections
