This past Saturday was the annual Dietz Picnic at my aunt and uncle's lake place on Lake Franklin. The weather was sure perfect for the get-together. The Flea Bitten Tramps played again and did a great job as usual. It was fun to see everyone. We were missing Tessa and her family, especially Brynn who missed playing with the cousins.

Wow, was today a scorcher. We were around home for the rest of the weekend, other than when we were at Franklin. So, today we got a lot caught up on around the house, and finally got the pool out for the first time this year. Brynn had a great time splashing and swimming around in it for most of the afternoon and again after supper. Dana and I each took our turn in there as well. It really did help cool off.

| We wholeheartedly celebrated National Ice Cream day at our house. :-) I would say that I celebrate it every day actually. We are keeping our Schwan man in business with these sundae cones alone. |
