Friends

We had a nice relaxing weekend at home. My friend Amanda brought Adria over for a visit on Saturday. The babies are aware of each other now! They are both getting so big. It was really fun to watch them together. Brynn's cartwheel instructions. I think the person started out a little apprehensive about doing a cartwheel. Saturday we got together for dinner at another friends' house. They also have two little girls, one of which is working on potty training. Tina promised Brynn that if she could get Molly to tinkle in her potty chair, she would take them for ice cream. Sure enough.... Brynn and Molly enjoying their reward. :-) Squishy Suzie! Here she is all dressed up for church today. Practicing sitting like a lady. More ladylike behavior. Look at my big belly!

Brynn's Family Birthday Party

Saturday we kept with the art theme and celebrated Brynn's birthday with her family party. The roads were really icy, but thankfully most who were planning on coming made it to our house. Brynn requested pizza and since she doesn't care for cake, we thought it would be fun to do an ice cream sundae bar. She loves ice cream. And who doesn't love ice cream when it's 10 degrees outside? :-) Thank you to everyone who came and for those who gave gifts! She spent the day on Sunday playing with all the fun things she got. And more of that today, as she was off of school for "Martin Lutheran King and Junior" day, as she calls it. Ha.  Thank you to my sister for some of the pictures below! We displayed some of her artwork that she's done in the window. She was really excited for her tie-dye balloons.  Video of Brynn blowing her candles I swear she has grown a foot since turning 7.

Happy 7th Birthday, Brynn

Happy Birthday to our Brynnie girl! She has been so excited in anticipation for her birthday. She even made a countdown chain and went right away to take down the last link on Friday morning. She received two birthday calls right away, and one even before she was up!  I showed her the below picture that I posted on Facebook for her birthday, and she said, "aww, cute. I had a lot of hair!" Ha. It sounded like she had fun celebrating at school and at Hope. She brought cookies to school to share for her birthday treat.  Brynn's First Birthday Of course Brynn chose McDonald's as her choice restaurant to eat out for her birthday dinner. Grandpa and Grandma were coming through town, so they met us for supper. Brynn was pretty excited about that. She also wanted to have a movie night after we went out to eat, so she watched 'Tangled' for a while until bedtime. She opened one of our gifts which was this set of headphones.  Toda
