Catching Up

I feel so behind on blogging lately. We haven't been up to anything too major, which is nice. But, here is what we have been up to! Typical Clara mothering any baby she can her hands on. This is one of the babies at daycare and she always wants to hug him and pet his head. They tell me she is very gentle with him. Last weekend Brynn attended one of her classmate's birthday party at SkyZone. SkyZone is a place where kids can literally bounce off the walls! Ha. They have a few different areas which are like big trampolines you can jump on and a pit with foam squares to jump into. Her friend Jaylin was there, too, so she had a fun time. Daddy was snowmobiling last Saturday, so while Clara was napping that afternoon, Brynn and I played Monopoly. I was the cat and she was the dog. Brynn was excited that on Friday it was Snuggle Up With a Book day at school. The students in her class got to wear PJs and bring a pillow and blanket. Brynn needed new

Busy Brynn & Mama Clara

On Monday when I was home with the girls in the afternoon we made my sister's hot cocoa recipe that we ended up not having at Brynn's birthday party. Brynn said it was the best ever. One night this week Daddy and Brynn were working on this 3D star project from this craft book. It turned out pretty cool. As cold as it was this week, there was a break in the below-freezing temps for it to warm up enough to snow. So, Brynn was out there shoveling while Dad blew snow. One of the gifts (a bed for her new doll) we were giving Brynn for her birthday didn't arrive until this week. Clara kept trying to climb into the bed. Ha. The infant room at daycare is big into Minions. On Friday morning they had a Minion breakfast and the parents could join them for a little muffin too. This isn't the usual room they're in; I think they moved them over for breakfast since some of the parents were coming. It's always funny to watch the kids interacting with

Happy 8th Birthday, Brynn!

Happy 8th Birthday to our Brynnie girl! It sure seems like we just celebrated her 7th.  She wanted to have her friend party at Chuck E Cheese. Brynn was excited that Grandma Laurie, Reagan, Elise and Tessa attended as well (aka Grandma and Auntie helped Mom keep her sanity). It was pretty chaotic, but Brynn seemed to have a great time.  Videos: Happy Birthday from Chuck E Happy Birthday to Brynn Getting ready for the ticket blaster with Grandma. The birthday kid gets a round in the ticket blaster and to choose a 'friend' to go in too. Grandma scored the 1000-point ticket. Success!
