Easter 2016

We had a great Easter celebration this past weekend. I was so elated at how nice the weather was. Daddy was home with the girls on Good Friday, as Brynn had school off. Brynn has tomorrow off as well, so I am home with them then. The girls got right to work on Easter projects when we got to Grandpa & Grandma Froemming's house on Friday night. Brynn's favorite: decorating the Easter tree. Making photo bunny crafts: These M&M Pretzel Flowers were super yummy. Brynn pretty much had a full spa day on Saturday with a foot soak, mani/pedi, hair trim and braids. So, she wanted me to take a 'formal' photo of her. :-)  Brynn got started on egg dyeing while she was waiting for Clara to wake up from her nap. Waiting for a snack. Grandma orchestrated a scavenger hunt for the girls to find their Easter baskets from them. There they are! Trying on their coordin...

Easter Bunny/Clara Update

Clara really turned the corner late yesterday afternoon and perked back up to her silly self again. She ate two bowls of Rice Krispies for breakfast this morning and then mooched most of my Cinnamon Toast Crunch. In other Clara news, she is brushing her five teeth now! She gets pretty excited about it.

We realized Brynn has a good arm on her for throwing the old pig skin! I think the Easter Bunny might be bringing her a football of her own. Man down! Dana was not conditioned for football practice. It had been a couple of years since we hit up the Bouncin' Bash. It was great timing with having friends to go with. Someone can't hang and fell asleep on the way home. Coincidentally I brought just her home so she could nap and sure enough, she woke up as I was getting her out of the car and she wouldn't go back to sleep. Don't mind her unkempt hair. She was in need of a bath! Our friend Roger is into photography as well and so he and I were monkeying around with our cameras Saturday afternoon and Clara was the only willing subject... ...
