sisters

Daddy saw a LEGO set online that he couldn't pass up, so he and the girls worked on some LEGO fun last Sunday. The girls were being extra silly in Clara's room one night before bed. Of course there are hard feelings around here about something every day. Followed by "sorry" and kisses to make-up. Yay! I finally made it to visit my sister and her new baby, Oliver, yesterday. I only stayed one night and headed back yesterday evening. But, I was so grateful for the time I was able to spend with them. He is such a good, sweet baby. We did take quite a few pictures of him, but I will wait to post any until Tessa has the chance to first. I did snap this one with my phone. What a beautiful night it was to be outside tonight. It was nice to get out after so many rainy, dreary days. Gettin' in my steps! Ha. Clara had a rough go of things today, as she fell and scraped up her face on some cement at daycare. :-( Poor thin...

Bubbles, Butterfly Ball, Birthday & Baby

Whew - it has been a while since I posted and lots has happened! Clara hard at work. Clara is happiest when she can help you do something...anything! She was 'helping' Dad saw off the bolts on the swing set in the below pic. She was helping me make supper tonight and we were about to put the rice in the pan when she spilled a bit. She then cupped her hand over her mouth in shock of what had happened. Ha - it was so cute. As helpful as she is, she is at least as feisty! She is constantly scrounging for food: before and after meals and if we're home all day, all morning long, too. I have no idea how they keep her fed at daycare honestly. She loves to find the snack cupboard and get into the chips. It was pretty obvious who the culprit of this mess below was with her blankie giving her away.  Last weekend it was time again for the Butterfly Ball. Brynn got her hair done and went out to Village Inn on her date with Dad. She met up with her friend H...

Letters

Last Saturday my best friend, Amanda and her little girl, Adria, came over for a visit. The girls had fun playing together and it is so funny to watch them interact each time they're together. Adria is such a little sweetheart. Of course Clara is scrounging for food. Time to give good-bye hugs... Bye, friend! Later that day we met my parents and Weckerlys at The Ramada for some swimming. Brynn was excited to spend time with everyone, of course, and even better, Tessa and the kids spent the night at our house. Brynn slept with me that night since Dana was out of town anyway and then we could free up a bit more sleeping room for our guests. She had already asked if she could sleep in my bed earlier in the week since she knew Daddy wouldn't be occupying it all weekend. She actually is sleeping in our bed right now as she sweet-talked Dad into taking his spot. This was a heart-melter. Brynn had gotten Clara up on her bed to kind of sing and boun...
