Christmas Vacation

We started out our Christmas Vacation Bucket List with a sleepover in the family room. The next morning was "Morning Movie" and the girls chose to watch "The Polar Express." On Wednesday we went to Space Aliens and then onto Skate City. This space ship is Clara's fav thing at Space Aliens. Brynn won 1000 tickets on this game alone. She ended up with about 1600 total, I think, and chose an expandable hard plastic ball. We only last so long at Skate City since we girls always poop out before Daddy. I had gotten Dana a new set of inline skates for Christmas so he was happy to try those out. Not sure where she gets her poses from. Ha. We also held our Gingerbread House contest (thank you to those who were called upon to vote!). Dana and Clara were a team and emerged the winners. Brynn won last year and I think expected to win again this year. She sure doesn't like to lose. :-) We have been checking off most of our

Christmas 2018

Merry Christmas! Friday was my last day of work before the holiday break. It was also PJ day, aka the best day of my professional career. Hopefully we'll have more of those to come. We went to church Sunday morning and came home to open gifts amongst the four of us before heading to Fergus to celebrate with Dana's side. We were passing out the gifts and Clara told me that one of hers that was in a gift bag was a Bison shirt. We were teasing her how she knew that, but then she felt bad that she had (obviously) peeked, so Brynn was consoling her..as she was opening her Bison t-shirt. Brynn's gift to Clara. Dad was just as excited as Brynn that she received the Motoworks kit where you basically build a small motor. Mom's turn! Dana got me a new pair of purple Pumas. And an iPad! It must have already been a long day by the time we took off for Fergus later in the afternoon. She pretty much refuses to take a

Programs

We went and visited Santa at the mall a couple of weekends ago. Clara asked for a stuffed unicorn and I don't know that Brynn really was able to ask for anything...maybe a dog... as Santa was giving her a bad time about keeping her room clean. She wasn't too impressed and later told me that she didn't really want to sit on his lap.  And so began the programs! The first was Brynn's school program.(She's in the blue top and burgundy pants.) This was from the Sunday Clara sang in church during the service. Making a Christmas countdown chain which they haven't really been keeping up on very much. I love this dress we found for Brynn. She looks so old. This was the Sunday she sang in church. Last Saturday Brynn and I road-tripped to Bismarck to celebrate Reagan's 12th (!) birthday. Reagan had chosen to have it at the gymnastics place in town and they had about an hour to play around. They all seemed pretty worn out by cake and p
