School's Out

Yesterday I took Brynn to school so she could turn in her personal learning device and pick up her personal items from her pod and gym lockers that school staff had collected for all the students to retrieve. They weren't allowed into the school so the bags of stuff were just marked with the students' names outside, waiting for them in their grade section. It sure was a different feeling ending the school year this way. Brynn was hoping she'd be able to see a few of her teachers while she was there, but I think she only saw her P.E. teacher.  A couple of staff were giving well wishes for the summer as we left the parking lot. I shouted out to her to hold up her sign so I could take a picture and that we missed them all too. Brynn was mortified. :-)  Since Brynn submits quite a few assignments online, even before distance learning, she didn't have too much for papers and such. Memorial Weekend

Clara wanted to make this bacon and egg cup for a second breakfast one morning. It was pretty easy and quick in the microwave. She's gotten really good at making her own scrambled eggs on the stove top and I think she realized that is the preferred method of cooking eggs. :-) Clara had ordered this kit with her own money and couldn't wait for it to arrive in the mail so she could try it out. Big sister helped and they've made quite a few matches of bath bombs already. It was nice that it came with enough supplies to do quite a few. Brynn sent me this pic she had taken of the two of them with her phone. 💓💓 Brynn and I rode bike down to the orchard and took a path that goes along the river.
