We were able to celebrate Oliver's 7th birthday with him a few weekends ago...Dana also joined in on the birthday love since their birthdays are only one day apart.
Happy birthday, Oliver! I had never seen a kid so excited for his birthday. It was a great party!
Clara had fun running around with Sadie dog. (Photo cred: Tessa)
Clara recently got to be the secret student in her classroom. They also each received a caterpillar that they are keeping at school and taking care of as it transitions through the metamorphosis stages to a butterfly.
Then we celebrated Dana's birthday for real. He and I were able to go out for lunch together.
We all went out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.
Then Dana stocked up on muffins to bring for his birthday treat to the office. An unwelcomed Spring guest: more snow. :-(
Brynn was then inspired to try on some of my old prom (and bridesmaid) dresses....along with Clara.
Snow is long since gone and now we're in the messy, muddy stage of spring. Clara was breaking in her new rain boots this week.
The after party....Clara was invited over to her friend's house for a bonfire after the family fun night.
Clara and Adria went to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Froemming for a night. I caught glimpse of their master plan before we left to go meet Grandma. hehe. Busy, busy!
Brynn and I snuck in a little tennis yesterday afternoon.
The girls living their best life at the lake.
The whole tennis gang. They are finally having their first game this week. I hope to make it to at least part of Thursday's match. (I put a red circle around Brynn - she is on the right side. Brooklyn is in the middle, under the coaches.)
I didn't get any pics from the Family Fun Night at Clara's school because it was sort of non-stop crazy. haha. I had signed up to volunteer for the cookie walk, and with two cookie walking circles, I never would have been able to do it by myself, so I was so thankful that Brynn had decided to tag along - she was such a big help. We walked over and then this is our walk back.
Thanks for having them, Grandpa and Grandma!
