First day of second grade was a success! And for the first year so far, no tears from anyone! I held myself together pretty well. She gave me a BIG hug before I left her classroom this morning, and that was hard, but mostly I was just glad she was so excited.
We had to make time for our first-day-of-school photos this morning, of course.

We brought a few things from her list to the school ahead of time on back to school night, but I think next year maybe we'll just bring everything so that she has more of a chance to get all her stuff put away and organized.
